I received my 13th Adsense payment worth $123.54 last October 28. Through my preferred payment mode Western Union, I had the money encashed and converted to local currency. The exchange rate was a little low at $1=P42.40 but still, that's better than nothing. Speaking of Western Union, I suggest looking for the branch with a more favorable exchange rates. I actually went to two branches before encashing my money. I found out the second branch I went to had higher rates with at least P0.30 difference so that was where I encashed my money. I'm clever like that, haha.

Compared to my previous Adsense payment, this was a bit lower and I attribute that to the fact that my blogs had low traffic due to my lack of updates. But I'm working harder next month. I promise that. For now, I'm thankful for the financial blessing in the form of this passive income called Google Adsense.

My first Nuffnang payout in the amount of P1,945.05 finally arrived last Monday, June 6. For those of you who are curious as to how long it took me to reach the minimum payout of P2,000, don't be shocked if I tell that it took me three long years. Yes, no kidding. Haha. But I'm very proud of this passive income, hence, this post.

The payout process was quite fast. I sent in my payment request on May 24, got an email from Nuffnang Accounting the next day asking for my bank details, and saw the money in my bank account on June 6. A transaction fee of P20 is deducted from each payment request. From the original payout of P2,004.74, they deducted P20 from it and I'm guessing a certain amount has been charged for the bank transfer which is why I was left with just Php1,945.05.

I don't know when my next payout will be, but one thing's sure, Nuffnang pays on time and I'll continue building a good working relationship with it.

After ten years, SponsoredReviews.com gave me an opp worth $50. I didn't bid or anything; they just emailed me that I had an offer from one of their advertisers waiting for my approval. So I got excited, opened their website and signed into my account ASAP. After seeing the opp, I approved it and worked on it. A few minutes later, I had finished the blog post, uploaded it to my lifestyle site and submitted it to them for approval. The next day I got my payment of $25. Yes, just $25 because Sponsored Reviews has a 50% share of their bloggers' earnings. I know it's big but it's no big deal to someone like me who's a not-so active Sponsored Reviews user, anyway.

I am so happy to share this news! I'm now an official PayU2Blog member! Yahooo! I had long wanted to join this generous blog advertising network but I only took it seriously last year when I self-hosted a new domain blog. When it reached its sixth month online and already had enough posts to pass PayU2Blog's requirements, I said a short prayer and submitted it to them for approval.

Last Wednesday (February 9, two weeks after I submitted my blog), I received an email from them informing me that my blog has been accepted and that I should give them some information they needed as soon as possible. I was squealing with joy. Yesterday, they sent me another email containing my login details to their system and some reminders. This morning, I've received my very first assignment and completed it immediately. Now I'm excited to receive more assignments and of course, my first PayU2Blog payout!

From what I gathered from blogger friends who have been with PayU2Blog for years already, they are very generous in giving assignments and pay on time. I love that they are already established because it means stable business for their advertisers and continued opportunities for us bloggers.

For the second time, I have reached the Google Adsense $100 minimum payout after one month and 11 days (September and October). This means I'm going to receive Adsense money by the end of November. Cool. This passive income has been helping me in no small way in my life as a breadwinner.

I was not able to get a screenshot of my Adsense report that time because Edwin and I were celebrating our birthdays in Boracay. It was our first birthday trip together and we had a great time.

Now, if only I could hasten the time it takes for me to reach the payout, then I'd be very happy. I know it's bad to want more and not be content with what I receive. It's just that it's always fulfilling and a challenge to beat your current achievement.

Anyway, I'm still very thankful for this online income source. I hope this lasts forever. :)

I just got my first payment from MyLikes.com, an advertising network that operates thru Twitter. It was my friend Ron who introduced me to this yet another earning opportunity. To earn from MyLikes, you just post ad campaigns on your Twitter account. Instead of the usual shout outs like 'Hello, I'm bored to death,' I have learned to replace it with ad campaigns from MyLikes on occasions. I earn from the clicks coming only from the US.

MyLikes emails me whenever there is an ad campaign that suits me. I dunno how they determine that, though. So what I do is just check my inbox for MyLikes notifications. If there are offers, I follow the link they provide and just post the ad campaigns on my Twitter account thru their integrated posting system. It's easy as that.

If my earnings reach $2 or more, they send payment during Fridays. You will never get rich with MyLikes but at least you get to earn some dollars from it while enjoying the perks of Twitter. :)

This is my 5th payout since I became an active Google Adsense user in 2009. Currently, I only get to reach the $100 mark every other month, the fastest being one month and 11 days. I'm so happy today because when I checked my Google Adsense payment history this morning, the payment details for my May 2010 earnings greeted me. The most important thing about it is that, it's my highest Adsense payout ever. Yay.


I'm going to the nearest Western Union after office to claim my moolahs. My credit card bills are due this week and I need money to replenish our pantry supplies. My Adsense earnings came just in time. Thank you Adsense, you're such a life saver. :)

It's a new year and I should be happy and all but no, I just can't. Especially after seeing my ReviewMe December payment in my inbox. It's a pitiful $10. It's the lowest payment I've ever gotten from them since I became a member in August 2009. I dunno who's to blame for this misfortune. My blog stats didn't change. I believe my ReviewMe reviews didn't change either as they remained of good quality. So my question is a big and resounding WHY...


Oh well, I know I can do nothing about this. I just have to accept it and hope that 2010 will be better. I really hope ReviewMe.com gives me a good number of offers this month and in the coming months. And not like last year when the offers would peak and dwindle from time to time.

I just can't believe my eyes this afternoon. My Adsense income today, for this day alone, is a whopping $108 USD. Haha. Okay, that was a big joke. You can laugh now. Kidding aside, my Adsense earnings today is $5.28. For you who is good at SEO, the amount may be small but for someone like me who is just starting to grasp the very idea of optimizing the search engines, this is a big development.

Gosh. I am really happy. My travel blog, Philippine Travel Promos, is my number one earner. I'm glad it is starting to perform well in the Adsense department. This inspires me more to write quality travel posts and share valuable travel promos with my growing readers. Blogging has never been this worthwhile for me.

I hope my Adsense income continues to soar in the coming days. I can't wait for my next Adsense payout. Thank you God for all of this. :)

The day after my birthday, my Google Adsense reached the 100th mark (read: $100 USD). It's the minimum Adsense payout set by Google and I was able to reach it after three months. This is a long wait for the bloggers I know who are good at SEO, but at least, I have made it. Payment will be end of November. Cool.

I am glad I have realized my goal of getting paid every three months for two consecutive times. I hope that in the coming months, I'll be able to replicate this or even surpass this personal record. I know I have to strategize better in order to improve my Google Adsense earnings.

I've been enjoying the privilege to write paid reviews for ReviewMe.com for months now. My last post about it was quite saddening but now I am happy to report that my September income there amounted to $112.50 USD. This is actually the usual income I get from the site. My August income suffered big time for some unknown reason and was reduced to $35 USD. Now, ReviewMe.com is bouncing back to business. If you don't know yet, Paypal has released a guideline on minimum withdrawal. For Paypal account holders in US dollar, the minimum amount required to withdraw is $10 USD. I find this reasonable. At least people would get motivated to earn more to be able to withdraw a bigger amount of money. What I don't really approve of is the seemingly low currency exchange over at Paypal, but that's a different story altogether.

I was ecstatic last week. It was my fourth $100 Paypal withdrawal and I was just too happy. Little by little, my paid blogging efforts are bearing fruits. My Google Adsense, on the other hand, is also improving. From a six-month wait before reaching payout, I am now down to three months.

My short-term goal is to have a $100 Paypal withdrawal once a month. This is easy considering the amount of offers I get from paid blogging sites. I'm saving up for Christmas and it seems I'll be able to meet my savings goal, too.

I am thrilled to announce that I have just received my first Google Adsense Payment worth US$125.73. This is small compared to what other bloggers get to receive regularly from Google Adsense but hey, this payment means a lot to me. It's a product of my blood and sweat.


I have yet to withdraw my Google Adsense Payment which is in the form of quick cash from Western Union. I plan to get the money anytime soon and write about my Western Union experience here.

This is the start of something big for me. I am now more inspired to keep my enthusiasm in blogging. But I know I have to work harder, if I want to receive bigger money from Google Adsense come payout time.

I'm a little depressed today. I wasn't able to reserve on time the three offers for my blog from Reviewme.com. Before I knew it, they had already disappeared into thin air and landed in the hands of other bloggers. The three opps had a total of $22.50. It's small I know but it's better than nothing. How did it happen? I was busy attending to my other tasks. I regretted not having checked my Reviewme account from time to time today, which was what I'd usually do.

Well, I guess those paid reviews are not really meant for me. All along, I thought all offers I see at the clearinghouse are for me. Apparently, that is not the case anymore. When I tried to accept the three offers a while ago, here's the reply I got:

Error: Either the number of reviews ordered has been met or you have already selected this site to review this product.

Lesson of the story? Always keep an eye on the clearinghouse so that no offers could walk past you. And yeah, better luck next time. :)

I just made my second $100 withdrawal from my Paypal account this morning. The money mostly came from the paid posts I made last month. I transferred it to my local bank account in less than 2 minutes. Processing takes three to four days so I think I can get it by next week. Have you tried withdrawing money from your Paypal account? If you don't know yet, I made an interesting post last year on the step-by-step guide to transferring Paypal funds to Philippine bank accounts.

The post also includes a link to the list of bank codes of Paypal's accredited local banks. I hope it helps you save time and energy in dealing with your Paypal funds.
